Locomotive Leasing
Chesapeake and Delaware, LLC has locomotives leased to port facilities, frac sand terminals and plastic distributors in the northeast. Many of these locomotives are remote-control equipped, maximizing the safety and efficiency of those operations.
Railcar Storage
Storage of railcars is vital to supply chains as railcar owners need to balance the seasonal and commodity market driven variances in the demand for their railcar fleets. Chesapeake & Delaware is open to track leases, as well as short and long-term railcar storage commitments.
Track Leases
Railroad track leases are available to help our shippers meet their transportation needs, and our tracks may be leased for transloading of railcars, or for storage of railcars in transit.

To begin the track lease process, complete a Track Lease Application Form and follow the form’s submission instructions to apply for a lease.

There is a $50 processing fee to apply for a track lease option with Chesapeake & Delaware.
